Today is the best day ever!

Today is the best day ever! Why, might you ask. Because I am alive, I get another day to see the beauty in the world and all it may have to offer. I get a chance for brand new mercies. My slate is wiped clean and I get a chance to start all over, taking every advantage I have to seize the day. I get to choose to see the awesomeness by how I look at what lies ahead for me. It is not only how I see the situations, but how I handle them. I tell my big girl all the time, everything and everyone does not deserve your time, energy! Someone didn't wake up this morning, someone is clinically crazy and doesn't know it. Someone has lost everything they had. Someone may be wishing they had their hearing to hear "I love you" or sight to see how beautiful clouds are in the sky or the face of a loved one they have only imagined in their mind. There are so many things I can find wrong in our "world", but am I looking for what is right? If I am not careful, I can take so many things for granted. Life wasn't created to be easy, but the good news is, even in that, if I see through the right lens of life, I can count it all joy and still be able to give thanks. And yes even in the hard times, heartaches, and the whys of life- understand that all things work for my good because I love God. I have to keep always at the forefront of my mind that I have a Savior that continues to guide me and hold me in His love as I venture through this thing called life. He is beside me every step of the way if I allow HIm to be. And sometimes even if I'm scared, He will hold my hand and lead me safely where He wants me to go!! My life may not be perfect, but I serve a perfect God who loved me enough to send His son to die for me that I may live life in Him with a heart of expectation understanding that God sees, He knows and He cares. He will supply all of my needs according to His riches in Heaven. I have to ask, believe, and by FAITH wait to RECIEVE!!
